News:
· March:
o 12th Jonathan’s Birthday
We had a great time spending time with the Koehn family which Jonathan has not been able to do in the last few years around his birthday.
o 31st Bloom Conference – a women’s Bible conference in Salt Lake City
Bethany went with some ladies from church: Leaettea, Eddy & Mindi also a couple of teenagers: Libby & Sophia
· April:
o 1st Master Mender
We went with 7 from church to a passion play about the life of Jesus Christ from the book of John.
o 8th Resurrection Sunday
We looked 1st at Psalm 16:10 a prophecy from around 1000 BC regarding Jesus’ resurrection. Secondly, we looked at the fulfillment of that prophecy from John 19:16-20:14 around 33 AD. Thirdly, we saw its affect in our life right now from Romans 4:1-9, 23-25. We enjoyed a fellowship lunch after the service.
o 22nd Bethany’s Birthday
We stayed around home and went on a picnic nearby where we took the photo that is in the title.
o 27th Wake (Funeral)
This was for Mindy Bailey’s father which we attended.
o 28th Pampered Chef Party
A unique but good way to reach out to believers and those who have not yet trusted in Jesus Christ. It brings people into your home and builds relationships with them.
o 30th Funeral
This was for Audra Robinson’s mother whose funeral we attended and had the privilege of singing at.
· May:
o 13th Mother’s Day
Please keep this day in mind as we hopefully will have those who do not regularly attend come to church.
o 17th – 23rd Montana
We will be in Montana with the Estell family for Bethany’s brother’s high school graduation.
Praise & Prayer:
· Please pray for Mike Peterson whose brother passed away.
· Please pray for Todd, Mindi & Taigan Bailey who had a wake (funeral) for Mindy’s Dad on April 27th.
· Please pray for Jody, Audra, Justin, Alexa & Aleasha Robinson who had a funeral for Audra’s Mom on April 30th.
· Please pray for Donna Borner whose brother passed away.
· Praise for the increased support through God’s people. Since our last newsletter our support has increased and we are so thankful to each of you who have given to the Lord’s work through us!!
· Please pray for God’s continued direction in ministry. We have passed the 6 month mark of our interim here. At any point during the remaining 6 months, we and the church need to make a decision as to whether God would have us continue on here as pastor and wife or He would move us on to something else.
· Praise for little Hadassah as she continues to grow. She is in very good health and keeps us on our toes! Please pray for us as we grow in parenting Hadassah and the many things God would teach us.
Thank you all so much for your support in prayer and finances as we serve in the ministry God has given us. It is because of God’s working through you all that we are able to serve in ministry. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
